About this pattern
Explanation
ございます is the polite, formal version of ある/います, used in very polite or business contexts. It marks the existence or presence of things or events and is typically used with inanimate objects or abstract nouns (and sometimes with animate nouns in very formal service language when referring to customers or guests indirectly). It is not used for people in ordinary conversation; for people you would use います/いますが in polite forms. Use ございます in signs, announcements, customer service, advertisements, or when speaking to customers to convey respect and formality.
