Explanation
いきなり is an adverb used to describe actions or events that happen unexpectedly or without any lead-up. It often conveys a sense of abruptness or surprise and is common in spoken language. It can modify a verb directly (いきなり花が咲く), describe a sudden shift (いきなり状況が変わる), or modify a noun in a modifying phrase (いきなりの出来事).
