Explanation
い-Adjectives describe qualities and feelings and all end with い in their dictionary form. They directly modify nouns or serve as predicates. To conjugate, change the い ending rather than adding endings to the stem. Common patterns include the negative (〜くない), the past tense (〜かった), and the te-form (〜くて) used to connect clauses. The adverbial form (〜く) is used to modify verbs and adjectives alike in more formal or descriptive contexts. Note that some い-Adjectives convey subjective opinions or sensations, and their conjugation is regular for standard forms at N5 level.
