Explanation
に取って is used to express how something is viewed or valued from a particular person’s or group’s perspective. It roughly means “for ~,” “as for ~,” or “from ~’s point of view.” It often precedes a statement about importance, significance, or evaluation, and is commonly followed by は or は～, or by following clauses that describe what is true for that perspective.
私に取っては、それは大切な思い出だ。
