Usage

Verb (dictionary form) + だろう

い-adjective (dictionary form) + だろう

な-adjective/Noun + だろう

Explanation
だろう expresses guess or assumption about a situation, often seeking confirmation or softening what you say. It’s a casual, conversational counterpart to でしょう and is common among friends and in informal writing. Use it when you’re fairly sure about something but want the listener to agree, or when you’re making a light prediction about the present or future. It can also convey a sense of personal opinion rather than absolute fact. Be mindful that だろう sounds less polite than でしょう, so adjust your level of formality accordingly.
