Explanation

ために expresses purpose or goal: the action that follows is done with a certain aim in mind. It answers the question ‘Why?’ with the intention behind an action. It is not used to talk about reasons or causes in the sense of “because of” unless you’re indicating a purpose for the action. Commonly used with verbs in the dictionary form, or with nouns/na-adjectives preceding のために.

私は健康のために毎朝ジョギングをします。

わたしはけんこうのためにまいあさジョギングをします。

I jog every morning for my health.

合格するために勉強を続けています。

ごうかくするためにべんきょうをつづけています。

I keep studying in order to pass.

家族のために新しい仕事を探しています。

かぞくのためにあたらしいしごとをさがしています。
