Explanation

それぞれ is used when referring to members of a group individually, or when discussing items in a set in a one-by-one or in an ordered way. It emphasizes individuality within a group (each person/item has their own aspect) and can also express 'in their respective cases' or 'respectively' when mapping a list to corresponding items. Common patterns include それぞれのN to specify ownership or attributes for each item, それぞれに to describe actions or effects each person/item experiences, and それぞれは to contrast items within the same category.
