Explanation
じゃないか is used when the speaker wants to confirm or guess something by inviting the listener's agreement. It often conveys a soft assertion or a tentative guess, rather than a blunt statement. It can express both rhetorical questions (Isn’t it obvious?) and gentle speculation (It might be...). In casual conversation, it often appears after plain or dictionary forms and can be used to nudge the listener toward agreement.
あの人は医者じゃないか。

これは高いんじゃないか。
