Explanation
いがい (以外) means “except for; besides; other than.” It marks what is not included within a group or comparison. It sets up a contrast between what is the focus and everything else. In more formal or broader contexts, you can use を除いて as a synonym for excluding items, often in more explicit lists or instructions.
