〜向むき

向き has two main uses. One is as a suffix in compounds like N向き to mean something is suitable or intended for that N (e.g., 子ども向き means suitable for children). It can also modify nouns with 向きの to describe specific kinds of things. The pattern N向きだ/collapse can describe suitability, while N向きに can indicate a direction or orientation toward something. In addition, 向きを indicate the direction the object faces (e.g., 北向きの部屋).
