About this pattern
Explanation
で marks where an action takes place, the means by which something is done, or the time within which something occurs. It can indicate location, means/method, or a duration/limit. Use で after a noun to show the context of an action or result tied to that noun, or after a time expression to indicate duration. Note that で is not used for destination with verbs of motion (use に for destination).
