Explanation

The particle よ at the end of a sentence highlights the information as something the speaker believes strongly or wants the listener to pay attention to. It can convey reassurance, friendliness, urgency, or insistence depending on the tone. It does not change the basic meaning of the sentence, but it adds a nuance: the speaker is certain, sharing new information, or encouraging agreement. Use よ with casual or informal speech; it usually feels warmer and is common in conversations with friends, family, or peers. It is not typically used in very formal situations.

明日、試験があるよ。
