極まりない・極まる

極まりない and 極まる express that something has reached or is at the extreme limit. They are used to emphasize a vivid degree, often with a sense of being almost beyond belief or almost unbearable. 極まりない is typically attached to nouns or na-adjectives (using は before it), or to the stem of an adjective/verb to describe the intensity as a result or characteristic.
